Wave Solder and Potting Machine Operator
6:45am-3:15pm $20-$22hr DOE
Wave Solder: Set up, program, and operate production machinery in the Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Read and interpret visual aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured, ensuring accuracy in work. Inspect PCBs for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant. Provide proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and update records as needed. Work under the guidance of Process/Manufacturing Engineering. Assist Manufacturing Engineering in the repair and upkeep of machinery. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Potting: Operate and set-up a machine to manufacture a resin material that protects Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) Potting of electronic assemblies. Prepare potting compound when the machine is running low. Inspect potted assemblies for curing and for porosity. Perform daily and weekly basic maintenance recommended by manufacturer procedure.
