We are now looking for a talented Manager, IT Applications to be part of our dynamic team based at our headquarters in One Island East. Reporting to Senior Manager, Information Technology, the incumbent will provide business and technical direction, guidance and supports to both scrum teams and teams for the implementation of Portfolio related application system.Responsibilities will include
Lead the application development team in designing, developing, and implementing application solutions that meet the specific requirements of different businesses within our portfolioCollaborate closely with stakeholders from various business units to identify their unique application needs and translate them into technical specificationsCoordinate effectively with project stakeholders, including business units, internal IT teams, and vendors, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projectsOversee the complete application lifecycle, encompassing planning, testing, deployment, and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection regulations, and best practices across all applicationsProvide guidance and mentorship to the application development team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environmentTogether with creativity, integrity and passion, our ideal staff should be / have
University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or Degree holder in Computing related subjects10+ years experience in system development including 5+ years experience in PM role in application developmentAbility and willingness to proactively accept and drive change to accomplish positive collective outcomesExperience with Agile/Scrum Development, Microservices architecture and REST API Integration is preferredGood interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levelsGood presentation, strong analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)Join us
