Role Description

This is a contract role for a Family Therapist at Pointters Community Initiatives. As a Family Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy and support to individuals and families in need. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing counseling and guidance. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of the work located in the Appleton-Oshkosh-Neenah area but also allowing for some remote work.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in Psychology and Family Therapy
  • Experience in mental health counseling and case management
  • Knowledge of clinical supervision and best practices in therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals and families in need
  • Licensed or certified Family Therapist or related field
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of racial equity


Requirements


  • 2 - 3 years of professional experience as a therapist for youths. A particular bonus if you have previous experience with incarcerated individuals.
  • A bachelor s or higher degree in psychology, sociology, and therapy.
  • Professional certification in therapy.
  • A willingness to commute to an office space in Menasha
