Dining Reservations Agent


Job Details

* Answering incoming phone calls and assisting guests with any inquiries regarding resort offerings.

* Processing gift card orders.

* Maintaining current knowledge of all resort offerings and hours of operation.

* Providing information about local features, such as shopping, dining, nightlife, or recreational destinations.

* Exhibiting Five-Star and Five-Diamond service standards.

* Following phone conversation flow guidelines.

* Coordinating with other departments to ensure a Five-Star guest experience.

* Completing a variety of training programs, including experiencing the resort-like a guest: staying overnight, dining in the restaurants, experiencing spa treatments, and many other resort amenities.

* Maintain work schedule as assigned and communicates any necessary scheduling requirement to management in advance of schedule release.

* Complete required and suggested training to achieve maximum knowledge.

* Input all reservation information thoroughly this includes first and last name, telephone number.

* Tag all reservations appropriately as member, hotel guest or public guest.

* Required to look at all upcoming reservations for any special notes or needs, including large parties where tables will need to be combined.

* Greet all guests as soon as they walk through the door in a warm and friendly manner.

* Ascertains the member/guests' dining needs.

* Seats guests and manages open table keeping all information up to date.

* Print and deliver every reservation slip to the assigned server.

* Monitor's restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.

* Monitor open dining sections for empty and cleaned tables.

* Quote appropriate wait times adding guest to wait list and seating them as soon as possible.

* Answer the telephone with appropriate greeting capturing all information accurately, including food orders when necessary.

* Responds to guest inquires and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

* Maintain a clean and orderly area.

* Disinfects all menus that have been presented to guests.

* Complete opening and closing side work.

* Be prepared to speak to the offering of the entire Resort and Spa including services offered and hours of operation.

* Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.

* Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.

* Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

* Completes additional training as needed.

* Performs deep cleaning and organizing as assigned.

* Assists with the functions of other positions within the restaurant and across the resort as needed.

* Maintains proper functioning and cleaning of equipment used in dining room.

* Alerts management of any issue that has occurred with the reservations.

* Understand functions of departments across resort property.

* Articulates location of departments and services when required.

* Ability to work flexible schedule including required shifts on weekends, holidays and as business requires,

* Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Previous customer experience required.

* Candidate must have the ability to multi-task.

* Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Candidate must have the ability to speak English fluently.
