Design Develop Prototype Test - this is a hands-on role in an organization where you are always close to the product and its application. With greater than 50% market share, this company is expanding into new markets and products and has dramatically improved productivity in the past few years with continuous innovation in manufacturing. Another production facility is under construction and this role will support the expanding product line.
OPPORTUNITY: Engineering in this company is about finding solutions that require innovative designs, new materials, and risk taking. Experience with New Product Development, conducting form / fit feasibility studies on new product ideas, addressing product design issues and working with R&D. We are looking for a self-motivated contributor to maintain hands-on project management of multiple product development initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering with at least 3+ years of product design experience. Must have experience working with a variety of materials including some time in molded plastic products. The successful candidate will be a decisive engineer who has a roll up your sleeves style, enjoys product development challenges, and knows how to motivate others. Hands-on CAD design experience, SolidWorks preferred. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
REWARD: Base compensation $100,000-115,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
