Job Description Material Logistics Agent - Supply (Buyer) - MON18753 **Description**

* Support the Logistic Supply Agents team responsible for the procurement of raw material, dangerous goods and consumables for the Montreal locations.
* Be responsible for the flow of material required to ensure an adequate level of customer service and the necessary inventory within the established budget.
* Manage discrepancies that affect material inputs by proposing solutions and by following up with suppliers about their commitments to meet requirements.
* Manage purchase orders and activities related to invoicing as well as price reviewing and approval of major orders.
* Produce analysis in order to bring out any deviations and corrective measures to be made.
* Carrying out projects in your own discipline.
* Prepare and present problems, results and solutions to management.
* Demonstrate an ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external suppliers.
* Being responsible for understanding and for implementing corrective action plans for KPIs (key performance indicators) of increased complexity.
**Qualifications**
As our ideal candidate,
* You are enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Management or Business Administration.
* You have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
* You are familiar with planning concepts in an ERP environment.
* You want to learn and be part of a dynamic team.
* You have good priority management skills and multi-tasking.
* You have a good knowledge using tools such as Microsoft Suite applications, excel and Outlook.
* You have a certain knowledge and experience using Power BI, analysis tools and SAP (an asset).
* You are comfortable communicating in French and English (speaking and writing).
