Frank Darling is a rapidly expanding Fine Jewelry brand that specializes in custom engagement rings. We have a large online presence as well as in-person showrooms located in NY, SF, DC, Chicago and LA. We are looking for a Diamond Procurement Associate to join our growing team with the potential to grow into a full time role. This position requires an efficient and detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is analytical, and is excellent at multi-tasking.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate professionally and effectively with suppliers
• Maintain gemology email inbox and respond to suppliers in a timely fashion with updates
• Assist the procurement team in memoing and processing stones
• Process sold stones
• Prep diamonds for client appointments
• Provide stone updates to suppliers
• Escalate credit issues to the returns team

Requirements and Experience:

• Proper diamond and gemstone vocabulary.
• Excellent communication skills
• Team-oriented and able to get along with a diverse group of individuals.
• Ability to communicate professionally, multi-task, and solve problems.
• Familiar with both lab and natural diamonds.
• Ability to read and understand diamond and gemstone certificates from various labs.
• Proficient computer skills (excel, online search databases)
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Excel skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Preferred but not required: Graduate Gemologist from the GIA (recent graduates can apply)
