Title: Occupational Health Nurse - Onsite

Education:
Bachelor's degree and current RN license required
Duties:
Provide occupational health services including treatment and care to site population (i.e., First Aid response etc.) Manage a diversity of programs and systems. Includes the management of all employee injuries and illnesses, associated workers' compensation cases, medical surveillance programs and protocols, logs and screenings. Manage all medical supplies. Coordinate Corporate occupational health and safety programs. Conduct applicable employee training and participate in various site teams and Emergency Response. Work with Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and HR Staff. Work closely with all site employees, Managers and Supervisors. Aggressively pursue a reduction in Workers' Compensation costs through effective case management, return to work and other effective prevention programs.
Experience: 7+years
1 year in Occ Health experience required with in person case management 2 years experience if it is school nursing experience
Hands on, in person experience required
case management experience required
In person injury assessment experience required
Contact nursing / injury assessment case management experience
Must have RN license from MN
2-year associate degree okay; bachelor s degree highly preferred
Occupational Health Services experience required
Assessment, first aid response, workers compensation, case management experience
Strong communication skills (written and oral) required
Injury management experience required
Accommodations management experience required
Medical surveillance experience required
AED Program experience
Emergency response coordinator experience
Ortho experience nice to have
School Nurse experience translates well
MS Office experience required (excel, power BI, outlook)
Medical Record management experience required

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
3 days at Plymouth (M,T,F) 2 days at Minnetonka (Wed & Thurs) - flexibility as needed for vacation coverage; 90 day training period, will have FT nurses at both sites
