Job Details
The Maintenance Technician s responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, fixing electrical and mechanical failures, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, emergency repairs, and installation of new equipment.

- Complying with health and safety regulations.
- Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
- Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
- Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
- Read and comply with work orders concerning PMs, modification, or installation of machinery.
- Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.

Education/Certification: High school diploma and/or certification are desirable
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- +5 years of industrial maintenance required if no education or certification
- +3 years of industrial maintenance required if education or certification
- Use hand tools and specialized tools (welding, precision, manual and semi-automated machines)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals Advanced
- Mechanical knowledge: motors, bearings, rollers, sprockets Intermediate
- Pneumatics knowledge Intermediate
- Electrical Systems knowledge Advanced
- Computerized systems, CMMS Knowledge Intermediate
Skill and Ability:
- Attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team atmosphere
- Demonstrated ability to closely adhere to all instructions, WOs, SOP's, policies and procedures required
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time
- Ability to act competently in emergencies
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
