Role Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with OKUMA Multus / Multitasking Turning experience to join our team in Chamblee, GA. This is a full-time, on-site position. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming OKUMA Multus machines and turning centers with live tooling (miil/turn) to produce high-quality machined parts according to customer specifications. You will set up and adjust machine tools, perform routine maintenance, and ensure that machines are operating efficiently. Attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a CNC Machinist with Mill/Turn experience
- Proficiency in Mastercam, G-Code, setup and operating CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications
- Experience with measurement tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience working in an AS9100 environment is a plus
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industries is a plus
