Description

PAY RATE: $13.74 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience)

Provides home visits, transports or occasional In-home respites for individuals who may be developmentally, physically and/or mentally challenged. Hours of service depend on the needs of the participant.

Prioritize participants needs to provide home visits, transports or occasional In-home respites as scheduled.

Provides personalized care for participants enrolled in Elderly Services.

Submits completed paperwork and assists with the planning & preparation of program special events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required

18 Months Additional Training In a Related Field Required

2 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience

Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required

CAP Driving Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk

Lift 50 lb and carry 20 ft

Push cart with 10 lb of force 30 ft

Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance

Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses

Have good hearing capabilities
