Head of Engineering - AI in Health
Location: Hybrid (2-3 times a week in office)

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for healthcare applications, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and clinical decision-making.
- Build and mentor a world-class engineering team with expertise in AI, machine learning, and healthcare technology.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and clinical experts, to define product requirements and roadmap.
- Drive the research and development of new AI algorithms and models, leveraging cutting-edge techniques to address complex healthcare challenges.
- Manage the engineering department budget and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI in healthcare, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (Masters/PhD) preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in developing and deploying AI solutions in healthcare settings, with a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems and workflows.
- Strong technical expertise in AI, machine learning, and related technologies, with hands-on experience in algorithm development and deployment.
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for leveraging technology to address real-world healthcare challenges and improve patient care.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare, such as HIPAA and GDPR, preferred.
- Prior experience working with healthcare providers, payers, or pharmaceutical companies is a plus.
