Job Overview and Responsibilities The **Customer Service Representative** (CSR) is part of the Customer Services Team. The CSR manages and supports a specified portfolio of customers for which he/she possesses in depth understanding of their needs. The position manages customer order management in a responsive and thorough manner. Order management is a multifaceted activity and requires an understanding of internal processes which include credit, inventory management, production, transportation, etc. to execute orders and ensure on-time deliveries. The CSR guides customer requests through the organization to ensure fast and satisfactory turn-around and is the key interface for customers internally within the Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality, and broader Supply Chain function(s). Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited:

* Manage the end-to-end order management process and controlling variances where they occur.

* Contribute to delivering against target OTIF collaborating with customers on order lead time (requested delivery date).

* Drive order readiness through achievement of targets on invoice on time, invoice accuracy, and orders entered within two business days.

* Employs the MAS accounting system for required financial transactions.

* Coordinate and work closely with our Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing facilities, and customers.

* Participate and contribute to key customer service effectiveness and efficiency projects.

* Assist customers on products, SDS, Certificates of Analysis, and shipping information.

* Proficient in Chemplex Product line and Customer list.

* Work with customers and end-users to ensure that product is used, stored, maintained, and transported according to label direction.

* Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products, and provide sales support.

* Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

Education and Experience

* Minimum two years of Customer Service or Marketing exposure from either college or on the job training in a related industry.

Skills

+ Exceptional customer service skills including written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage conflict and diffuse situations to a satisfactory end.

+ The ability to build strong internal and external relationships.

+ Exceptional analytical and problem solving capabilities.

+ Good personal management skills such as strong prioritization skills, well organized, resourceful, and highly dependable.

Demonstrated ability to share knowledge and mentoring among team members.
