Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This position is located at the Duke Energy Roxboro Power Station in Roxboro, North Carolina.

**Job Summary:**
General Construction Site Labor Activities.
**Essential Functions:**
* Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
* Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
* Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
* Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.
* Following instructions from supervisors.
* Assisting tradespeople in their duties.
**Job Requirements and Qualifications**
**Education:**
* Previous construction industry experience.
**Training Requirements:**
* Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
**Experience:**
* Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is preferred.
**Other Information:**
* Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
* Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
* Must be able to work in a construction environment including possible inclement weather.
* Must have a valid drivers license.
* Be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
