**Warehouse Specialist (Ammunition Supply Point)**

**Responsibilities:**

As directed, the Warehouse Specialist conducts a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of U.S. Army's supply procedures and policies. Work involves providing a second independent check of National Stock Number, Lot Number, Department of Defense Identification Code (DODIC), Condition Code, count and storage location of ammunition and explosives during issue, turn in, inventory and preparation for shipping, assisting in the determination or determining proper markings and application of markings of lite cans of ammunition and explosives, proper placarding and compatibility of ammunition and explosives, assisting in the inspection or inspecting ammunition and explosives containers, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, verification of accuracy of Magazine Data Cards and Planographs. Ensure that safety and physical security rules and regulations are followed appropriately. Act as Warehouse Specialist Lead during absences. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Hourly Compensation: $16.50

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* 2+ years of relevant work experience in warehousing

* ???Knowledge of Army logistical functions

* Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening

* Ability to obtain a NAC-I and a CAC

* High School Diploma/GED

* Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

* You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.

**Desired Qualifications:**

* Current Driver's License

* Ammo-45 Introduction to Ammunition

* Ammo-112 Explosives Storage Safety

* Military Occupational Specialties 55B/89B
