Job Description: Tool Room Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Full time/Direct Hire and Day shift
Compensation: $60-80k depending upon years of experience
Industry: Injection Molding Manufacturing
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a responsible Tool Room Manager to perform all activities that involve the Maintenance of all Production and Prototype Tooling with the purpose to maintain production in a Plastics Manufacturing environment. The candidate must have Injection Molding Plastics experience.
Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Management is a must
- All Tooling via PM Program
- Tooling Modifications to improve Over-all Efficiency of Tool in regards to production and Preventative Maintenance Time.
- Documentation of the Preventative Maintenance Program
- Improvement within the Facility for 5S and Lean Manufacturing
- assist all Departments with the goal of Maintaining Uptime of the Molding Machines in regards Tooling
- a Safe Work Environment and Safe Working Practices
- work within all the guidelines as specified by Company Policies.
- to Lift, Pull or Push Fifty pounds
- Math Skills ie. +, -, /, x
- Tool Maintenance Area
- with Outside and On-Site Contractors
- Visual Inspection of Tools
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of Tool Prints.
- and Ability to Work with All Types of Required Maintenance Equipment
- of Electronics as related to the tool.
- of Hydraulics as related to the tool.
- of Compressed Air and Pneumatic Systems
- to Complete Disassembly and reassembly of complicated tools
- and 3+ Years experience in the Plastic Industry required in tool maintenance type functions
