Brand Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Spirit Brand Manager will sell, market & host spirit tastings and events throughout Connecticut territories. This includes introducing the brands to accounts and to consumers through account visits and account activation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent and sell specific brand(s) through the customer base in the state of Connecticut.
- Responsible for documenting account visits, including which products were sampled or discussed, information on depletion, the state of the account s shelf-set, and recommended next-steps for the account.
- Generate leads, and open accounts at the discretion of Murphy
- Promote products or services at various events and locations
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Create brand awareness through social media management and online marketing efforts
- Conduct product demos and provide information about the features and benefits of the brand's offerings
- Assist with event marketing initiatives, including setup, teardown, and logistics coordination
- Deliver public speaking engagements to educate and inform audiences about the brand
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position
- May perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Sales or Promotion work
- Strong market knowledge to effectively promote the brand and its products or services
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Driver s License
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
