Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Service Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

General Summary

Serves as the primary point of contact for assisting customers with any inquiries, service difficulties or service requests by phone calls, emails, or walk-ins.

Essential Job Functions

Proactively upsell WRTs products and services by implementing adopted marketing plans and strategies to business and residential customers.

Assist all customers enthusiastically and innovatively with sales, billing and account inquiries.

Assist customers regarding concerns with all WRT services and determine solution or dispatch to the appropriate work group.

Maintain customer records of services.

Interact and communicate with coworkers to assist in completing customer requests and troubles.

Receives cash, checks and other tender from customers in payment of bills and purchases, as well as posting customer payments. Consults and balances cash drawer money. Prepares daily bank deposits.

Perform all computer functions associated with WRTs billing and customer service orders.

Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieve results with good fiscal policy.

Adapt to the evolving and changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities of WRT and the industry.

Promote organizational mission and goals by influencing others to act in support of ideas, programs, or causes.

Display an ongoing positive commitment to learning and self-improvement; desiring and making an effort to acquire new knowledge or skills for work.

Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of company products and services.

Knowledge of marketing and sales practices and principles.

Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and IVUE.

Knowledge of general office procedures.

Knowledge of various electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, streaming devices).

Skill in prioritizing and completing multiple projects.

Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, copier, fax, and telephone systems.

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.

Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by WRTs insurance carrier.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree, preferably in marketing or business-related field, or equivalent work experience.

Reporting Requirements

Reports to WRT Headquarters in Hazen, ND and must reside within WRT service area.
