The Role:
- We are searching for a self-motivated individual to fill the role of ENTRY LEVEL Prototype and Pre-Production Electric Motors Technician.
- In this position, you will be responsible for the construction of prototype and pre-production electric motors for product and process validation and development.
- Additionally, you will participate in BPD, GMS, and on-site training programs.

What You ll Do
- Participate in BPD/GMS process, to meet strategic plans.
- Document and track all department deficiencies through various problem-solving techniques.
- Build prototype and preproduction electric motors in accordance with the build schedule.
- Analyze motor defects and perform repairs as required.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop welding process for new motor designs.
- Modify and build simply fixtures and tooling.
- Operate machine shop equipment, and motor lab equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, robotic welder, wire forming machines)
- Perform motor electrical tests in accordance with authorized procedures.
- Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- hands on mechanical experience
- Associate degree or experience in mechanical or electrical activities.
- Prior prototype build experience
- Knowledge and theory of electric motors
- Manufacturing knowledge of electric Motors
- Knowledge of assembly build processes in Manufacturing
