Cashier/ Customer Service


Job Details

As a Cashier, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately process customer purchases and provide excellent customer service. You will be customers' final point of contact during their shopping experience, ensuring a positive and pleasant checkout process.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with any inquiries or concerns.
  2. Scanning and accurately entering items into the cash register system.
  3. Accepting various forms of payment, such as cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
  4. Calculating and providing correct change to customers.
  5. Bagging purchased items carefully and efficiently.
  6. Monitoring and addressing any issues with pricing or inventory discrepancies.
  7. Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  8. Assisting with inventory management and restocking products as needed.
  9. Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints or concerns.

  4. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  5. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with cash register systems.

  7. Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  8. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings.


Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for an entire shift
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
  • Mobility & Repetitive Motion
