Customers can install affordable, on-demand connectivity, without the need to bury cables underground or along utility poles. Some customers include federal, state, and local government, campus and business IT directors, Internet Service Providers, network operators, and utility contractors. We are an investor-backed startup with additional support from the National Science Foundation, In-Q-Tel, US Air Force, and Army Corps of Engineers.


Who TRAXyL is looking for:

TRAXyL is seeking individuals who will play a crucial role in ensuring financial compliance, accuracy, and efficiency within the organization. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial data and preparing reports, in addition to supporting various internal and external teams in decision-making processes related to financing, contracting, proposals, and investments. This role will interact with and support internal and external stakeholders, and customers. The ideal candidate will be motivated by the opportunity to build a team to lead a startup into its growth years.


You are an ideal fit for this role if you have/can:

  • 5+ years of professional financial experience
  • Analyze balance sheets, P&L, and proformas to report the financial health of company
  • Develop and maintain monthly financial reports, working closely with our outsourced accounting firm that manages the monthly and annual close to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain Excel models that import financial information from QuickBooks Online, and ensure that the accounts structure and information flow are current.
  • Report financial performance and trends to stakeholders, highlighting key insights.
  • Manage the company s financial best practices and procedures
  • Develop and maintain company, department, and project budgets
  • Review government and commercial contracts to ensure compliance and financial health
  • Develop and maintain budgets for complex contracts
  • Monitor contract performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Work closely with the outsourced CFO and operations in the development of the annual operating budget.
