Essential Functions:
- Oversee manufacturing operations and lead the production team.
- Drive continuous improvement programs for product quality, cost, processes, and designs.
- Establish operational goals and metrics in coordination with company directives.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing early in the design stage.
- Set operational performance standards and align the organization to achieve them.
- Implement Lean and other methods of continual improvement.
- Work closely with Human Resources to ensure personnel actions follow company rules.
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or related fields.
- Minimum four years of management experience.
- Experience in the marine manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading teams and meeting production goals.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques, Six Sigma, RCCA, conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and OSHA 14001 requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
