responsibilities:
Utilize digital skills for graphics, computer aided design (CAD), and rapid prototyping / 3D printing
Prototyping skills - hands-on package model making and component assembly to test and learn
Execute the design/engineering of packaging concepts through 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and prototypes
Responsible for 3D design and development of innovative structural packaging concepts and technologies under direction and mentorship of the packaging innovation team
Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work with diverse cultures and global colleagues
Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas, design solutions
Design and develop creative presentation materials in PowerPoint
Required Skills:
Solidworks is our CAD platform - Keyshot and Rhino are a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for presentations (PowerPoint)
Prototyping Skills (3D Printing, hand model making for rough and presentation models)
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for product design (fundamentals of design with plastic, metal, glass and paper are ideal)
