**Description**
**This position is scheduled for Friday - Monday 11:00pm to 7:30am. Must be able to work this schedule.**
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
* Conducts a Forklift safety inspection prior to use according to guidelines
* Pulls product from the racks and stages for production
* Tracking of materials through the proper use of scanning, inventory control, and reporting issues
* Ensures that the correct product is being used including meat and packaging
* Transports products to and from various locations including combo dumps, scales, loading docks, and storage areas
* Scans all product into production using scan gun device
* Unless otherwise directed follows the FIFO for raw materials
* Reports any problems with product or equipment to supervisor
* Manages pallets and other supplies in specified areas
* Performs other related duties as requested
**Required Skills and Abilities**
* Sufficient verbal communication skill to interact with other departments and customers
* Basic math, language, and reading skills
* Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly
**Education and Experience**
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* 1-year forklift experience required
* Satisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in an on-site test
**Physical Requirements**
* Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness
* Must be able to move and lift up to 50-pound wooden skid or pallet
* Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment
