Are you a licensed attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience who does not want to practice but wants to stay within the legal field? This may be the position for you! My client, a national insurance defense firm, is seeking a Legal Trainer for Associates.
Qualifications:
- Law degree (JD)
- 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably insurance defense within a law firm
- Strong academic history
- Excellent written and spoken language skills
- Excellent communication
- Highly organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Adaptable
- Self-motivated
- Proactive
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of legal training materials.
- Ensure that the legal training program aligns with the Firm's strategic goals and values, such as diversity and inclusion, client service excellence, and diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate with HR to oversee, review, and design elements of the summer intern induction, trainee induction, and ongoing trainee programs.
- Work closely within practice groups to adapt content for delivery.
- Assess, curate, and recommend supplemental professional development and CLE resources.
- Other duties may include conducting conflict checks.
