Job Description
SUMMARY
Performs evaluative/diagnostic duties of students referred for evaluation of suspected educational problems. Assists with the development of educational plans to meet the specific needs of students who would qualify for special education services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in special education or related field
Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
Experience in psycho-educational assessment
OR
Recent (1 - 5 years) diagnostic test administration experience aimed at determining special education eligibility in public school settings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual - Spanish/English
Previous experience as a bilingual evaluator
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Must hold a current Driver's license and personal vehicle insurance coverage greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of auto insurance policy. Coverage must be valid throughout term of employment
Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.

Location: Exceptonal Education Department - Sites may vary
Classification: Supervisory/Professional
FTE: .20 - 1.50 hours per day 1 Position
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
- This position is a TEMPORARY position and will end in June 2024.
- Will complete School Psychology Master's Degree program in May 2024, or earlier.
