Industry- Health care services, senior living communities, non-profit, about 420 employees, about 9 in AF
Hours- Part-time (30-32 hours per week - need them to work 6+ hours on Monday and Tuesday, but flexible otherwise)
Location- Needham (need car - close to Routes 128 & 9)
WFH situation- Fully onsite for 3 months to train, and then they can work 1 day from home (not Monday & Tuesday)
Background check- yes (CORI)
Vaccinated- yes
Why open-They are looking for someone to process payroll. Payroll is Thursdays. Mondays & Tuesdays are the busy payroll days.

-2+ years of payroll processing experience

Job Description:The Payroll Coordinator position is responsible for weekly payroll processing for our campus.
Duties & Expectations:
- Processes weekly payroll with diligence and accuracy
- Serves as liaison with HR on the onboarding of new hires, termination of existing employees, and any other payroll changes to an employee s payroll profile
- Serves as primary contact for all team members regarding their timecards and paychecks
- Assists in year-end W2 reporting, audit preparation, and record retention
- Exercises confidentiality, discretion, and ethical conduct at all times
- Ability to manage weekly deadlines
- Effective communication with direct management
- Other duties or projects as assigned
Education & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Experience working in a 24 hour facility preferred
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance concepts.
- Must be able to use a computer with working knowledge of MS Office and Accounting software. Strong Excel skills are a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with Team Members and Residents.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have knowledge of Payroll best practices and procedures
- Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations relating to Payroll
