The Director of Growth Marketing will spearhead the development and execution of marketing strategies, leveraging industry trends and insights to identify growth opportunities in new product development and brand strategies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and finance, to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

The R&D Manager is responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • & Execution: Developing and executing marketing strategies that deliver the overall goals of the corporation, including Strategic and Annual plans.
  • Opportunity Identification: Using externally available data, insights from within the organization, and trends, the Director will identify and pursue new growth opportunities in new product development, brand and communication strategies. This will require the candidate to be very familiar with US and global trends around VMS & Healthcare, and be able to link data and insights from different sources to enable the identification of new and emerging trends.
  • Collaboration: collaborate closely with R&D in new product development, with sales and customer support on customer experience and sales strategies, and with finance/analytics to acquire, share, and translate data from multiple sources into actionable insights. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • responsibility for Customer Acquisition: Jointly lead efforts with the Sales organization to target new customers. This will include the preparation of the selling story, annual customer planning, and as well any new product development initiatives that may be required for the target.
  • of Marketing Data & Insights: Oversee insights and analytics related to market data, syndicated reports, and commissioned consumer research (e.g. research brief, agency selection, study oversight, analysis and implementation of results) Customer Journey & Experience: Implement strategies to improve customer experience, including touch points from customer acquisition to retention and loyalty
  • funnel management: Oversight of the innovation project management process, focused on consumer- and market-driven strategic innovation.
  • Strategy: Develop and deliver the Communication strategy for the organization across all mediums (e.g. Social, PR, CRM, Trade shows, web), including annual Communication priorities and budgeting with clear and measurable goals. Defines and manages any marketing or advertising agency support.

Departmental Budget Management: Recommends and manages agreed marketing budget, including any agency renumeration (fees, commissions, etc), budget for creative development (e.g. trade ads, website development, content costs, video and photo production)

Qualifications:

(Minimum Education Requirements, Experience, Competencies, Training or Experience)

Bachelors degree in marketing, or similar field

10+ years professional experience in Marketing (B2B)

Preferred 5+yrs industry experience in nutraceuticals, confectionary products, or food related products.

Management experience leading direct reports and cross-functional teams to successful results

Proven track record in consumer-driven new product development, translating insights into ideas and successfully bringing them to market

Experience successfully managing a P&L, identifying priorities and translating them into actions

Strong leadership and management skills: manage teams, set strategic direction, and drive results.

Effective communication skills: strong oral and written communication and emotional intelligence

Strategic Thinking & Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make data-driven decisions, balancing detail-orientation with big picture thinking

Highly collaborative: A true team player who functions well in a hands-on team environment, with effective interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
