Job Summary:Engineering support for United Stated Coast Guard (USCG) Polar Security Cutter (PSC) (CG-9326) Program Management Office (PMO).Education and Experience:+ A ctive Professional Engineer's License in either NAME (Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering+ PM Level II or equivalent certification+ A t least ten (10) years demonstrated experience with Government vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on marine engineering, machinery control systems, auxiliary systems integration and systems engineering.+ E xperience performing detailed design and analysis in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition (DHS/USCG Level 1, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) and repair projects.Essential Duties:+ Technical Management Services including, but not limited to, all services related to engineering (e.g., electrical, mechanical, naval, and systems)+ Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents+ Support areas may include, but not limited to:+ Systems Engineering+ Configuration Management+ Concept Development+ Design Documentation and Technical Data+ Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgy/Materials, etc.)+ Engineering Process Improvement+ Independent Verification And Validation+ Integration+ Interoperability+ Life Cycle Management+ Modeling and Simulation+ Prototyping and Fabrication Support+ Quality Assurance+ Red Teaming and Wargaming+ Requirements Analysis+ System Design+ System Integration+ System Safety Engineering+ Test and Evaluation+ Technical Documentation+ Mission Assurance+ Data Analytics+ Architecture Design+ System Verification and Validation+ Baseline (Configuration) Management+ Data Management+ Risk Management+ Technical Planning+ Systems Engineering Training+ Integrated Master Schedule SupportKnowledge, Skill and Abilities:+ S pecial knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, and engineering principlesVectorCSP is a Federal contracting small business based out of North Carolina.
