Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room (OR), including preoperative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative monitoring. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during surgical procedures. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system. Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe surgical environment. Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state) with at least two years of recent OR experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment. Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
