Desktop Support Specialist


Job Details

Marathon TS is looking for a Technical Support Specialist that has the skills and abilities to manage Microsoft Active Directory and will implement GPOs to support the execution of STIG settings on file and print services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer support with scripting technologies and uses VB and/or Powershell to automate common functions
  • Responsible for producing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) used for production deployment
  • Gathers requirements and helps architect, plan and implement system solutions for a Windows platform to meet customer requirements
  • May at times be required to move standard office equipment
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Helpdesk and Windows support in an enterprise environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute)
  • DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security or other approved certification(s))

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification
