Scope of Work:
We\'re seeking anexperienced Observability Platform Engineer with a background in EnterpriseApplication Development.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (orequivalent experience).
2. 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles,emphasizing observability.
3. Proficiency in scripting or any object-oriented language such as Java, Perl,Python, PowerShell, etc.
4. Hands-on experience with public cloud service platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,or GCP).
5. Familiarity with cloud-native monitoring solutions such as AWS CloudWatch.
6. Experience with Elastic Observability or similar tools for log analysis,metrics visualization, and distributed tracing.
7. Knowledge of SNMP Management Information Base (MIB) files and OID structure.
8. Experience integrating SNMP/API monitoring data with centralized systems orIT service management tools.
9. Proficient understanding of the entire technology stack of the service, fromapplication to infrastructure.
10. Familiarity with storage, database, and network monitoring methodologiesand tools.
11. Understanding of observability standards and frameworks like OpenTelemetryfor infrastructure monitoring.
12. Exposure to AI Ops, Service Maps for comprehensive visualization andanalysis of service dependencies.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationwith cross-functional teams.
14. Awareness of enterprise architecture, design, and implementation principles.
15. Exposure to big data tools such as Metricbeat for comprehensiveobservability coverage.
Skills:
One of the programming languages (Java/Perl/Python).
DevOps and automation skills (Jenkins/Cloudbess..).
Observability platforms (Elastic Stack, APM, Splunk, Newrelic).
