Sales Manager


Job Details

We are recruiting for a Sales/Trade Manager to develop a regional strategy in the steel industry to ensure seamless execution of our trading endeavors. This position reports to the CEO of AMI NAFTA and is instrumental in coordinating with business line heads and supply sources, particularly in Asia, to ensure seamless execution of our trading endeavors.


Specifically, this role will:

  • Execute trading initiatives within the NAFTA region
  • Support the sales team to boost trading sales across AMI NAFTA.
  • Implement commercial strategies
  • Actively participate in budget planning and BAR meetings, driving trading initiatives forward.
  • Facilitating information exchange between suppliers and sales teams


Candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer orientation and data analysis abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with PowerBI
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25% of the time).


This position offers:

  • Compensation: $120K - $140K/yr. + 25-45% bonus
