Production Team Leader A Shift
Monday to Thursday 5 am to 3 pm with OT usually 4:30 am to 4 pm to get shift started as finishing shift
The position of production team leader is to be the "flight attendance for production 70% on the floor
Daily Expectations:
- Follow all safety rules
- Supervising operations within a zone to achieve higher output (20-25 associates)
- Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
- Support getting associate to their work center on time
- Assist on getting associates safety supplies
- Direct associates who have questions about which work center they are to be working
- Hand out labor tickets and production labels
Verifying they match
- Wear a radio to be able to answer associates who call for assistance
- Go to work center to understand concern or question
- Contact Maintenance or Material Handler when needed
- Assist with line changes
- Assist with putting up material when needed
Foil, facing & glass
- Printing production labels, labor tickets when needed
- Inputting production results when needed
- Assist in improving production rate
- Assist in reducing scrap
- Run production line as needed thru breaks & lunch
Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent English and Spanish is a plus
- Good employee standing/attendance
- Basic understanding of safety, quality standards and efficiency rate
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (molding, stamping and waterjet)
- Basic understanding of raw materials (fiberglass, fabric, steel and binder)
- Good communication & coaching skills
- Computer skills (Excel Intermediate)
