Maritime Maintenance Coordinator

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs for all maritime vessel machinery, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to develop and execute effective maintenance plans for the entire fleet
- Implement and enforce quality control standards to uphold the highest levels of maintenance excellence
- Oversee maintenance activities for vessels ranging from 800 HP to 4400 HP, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of information and ensure timely completion of service and repairs
- Aptitude for prioritizing maintenance tasks with input from the Maintenance Superintendent, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changing demands
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maritime maintenance or a similar field is highly desirable
- Familiarity with maritime regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Be able to lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
- Some travel required
