Diamond Pet Food, is actively searching for experience forklift operators for the warehouse for our production and packaging facility in Gaston, SC. This qualified individual will perform a wide variety of warehouse functions. The forklift warehouse operator are to be proficient in accurately organizing, and loading finished product orders, damage free.
Work Environment: Work is primarily performed indoors near operating equipment and loud noise as forklift horns and loose particles may be present.
Duties: As directed and trained, perform the duties and functions of a warehouse operator by accurately organizing and loading product orders, damage free. Understand and perform various loading procedures for domestic, foreign, and key account shipments. Ensuring that only correct, and damage free product is loaded while maintaining a First-In and First-Out finished product, inventory system.
-Must be able to drive a yard dog
-Obtain load and weight tickets for each outgoing shipment.
-Stage mixed and partial pallets for upcoming shipments
-Perform all functions as a warehouse operator
