**JOB SUMMARY:**

A ST Hackney Customer Support Clerk will interact with our inside and outside salesmen within a professional and service orientated environment. This position helps ensure the highest levels of service, satisfaction and profitability.

The Customer Support Clerk role is vital to the success and performance of our support team. They execute and assist in the daily tasks of customer service and order administration.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :**

Treat customers, and co-workers in a friendly, courteous, and serving manner

Receive, review and enter customer orders timely

Verify and/or clarify information on customer orders

Control and manage document processes by reviewing files, records and critical information to confirm accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Enter data into company's Jobscope system and update details, including customer contacts and delivery dates to keep information current

Process and distribute customer status reports as necessary

Coordinate with inside salesmen to carry out customer requests

Verify order information against system data to prevent errors

*Administer 30 day trailer tags*

*Serve as chairman and maintain logs for Order Review meetings*

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**

Ability to work well with many types of people. They must be able to build good relationships with customers and with other members of the sales team.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)

Ability to multi-task. Kidron Customer Support Clerk will regularly work with multiple sales representatives, customers, and other company employees.

Excellent team player

Possess excellent organization and communication skills

Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Able to remain calm in high pressure situations

Able to read, write and speak English. Specific industry related experience a plus

**WORKING CONDITIONS:**

Working in an office atmosphere throughout the year, in a collaborative, team setting.

Customer contact may result in stressful situations.

Extensive email, text and phone communication.

Extended hours during peak season / as business deems necessary.

General Office Hours 8:00AM - 5:00PM

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**

CS Clerks will have the physical fitness to perform all functions of designated work while often sitting at their desks for the majority of an 8-hour workday.
