Position: Senior Software Engineer

Pay Rate: $90-$110/HR (DOE)
Contract: 6 Months W2 (Extension Likely)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong full-stack background to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of web-based applications tailored for internal users within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while collaborating with a team of passionate professionals.
Responsibilities:
- develop, and maintain robust, scalable web-based applications for internal users, with a focus on both frontend and backend development.
- with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
- frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user interface.
- backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, to support frontend functionality and enable seamless data exchange.
- clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web development.
- proficiency in front-end development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React.js.
- understanding of backend development concepts and experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
- designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
- problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack.
- communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, or similar.
