WHO we're looking for:

We are looking for a Professional Development Manager to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales support of all customer demonstrations and proof of concepts for display technology, software and services primarily focused on interactive flat panel. displays.
  • Support events, shows, and customer/partner engagements.
  • Post-sales training/professional development delivery in the education vertical.
  • Provide professional development and ongoing support to education customers and build long term relationships acquiring future hardware, software and services sales.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual demonstrations in front of educators and district personnel for K12 and Higher Education institutions.
  • Gather customer requirements and develop customized professional development offerings focused on learning outcomes to improve student engagement and teacher effectiveness.
  • Use strong organizational skills to prioritize and maintain a focused execution to manage a regional territory.
  • Be a company advocate and raise awareness with all education accounts with hardware, software, services and professional development.
Required Experience and Education:
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a classroom and teaching certification is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Strong understanding of education pedagogy and technology requirements with demonstrated success of delivering high quality professional development.
  • Embrace technology and experience with training and lesson development.

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Google Workspace and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
  • Creative individual with high energy and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent public speaking and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 80% of the time). Live near a large metro area with access to a major airport. Overnight travel may be required.
  • Ability to move and transport equipment (under 75lbs) may be required.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
