**Description****SAIC** is seeking a **Program Analyst** in **Springfield, VA** to perform as a **Strategic Communications and Technical Advisor** to support planning, development, implementation and measurement of departmental strategic communications focused on both internal and external communications. This position will focus on improving internal and external communications; providing clear, accurate, and consistent communication of strategic themes and messages, advertising core competencies, developing and marketing strategic vision, goals, and priorities.**Job Duties:**+ Working independently and as part of a cross-functional team of technical experts and customer leadership to develop critical narratives for internal and external recipients.+ Develops communications plans identifying key messages, audience(s), and distribution methods.+ Engages with technical staff and leadership team members to extract and interpret critical program information to a wider, sometimes non-technical audience.+ Utilizes writing and presentation skills, research, design, coordinate, consult, develop, produce, edit, and prepare briefings, point papers, talking points, handouts, or other materials for senior executives, internal and external audiences.+ Interprets, synthesize, and present data on relevant metrics, environments, profiles, and trends.+ Reviews, prepare, and present executive level summaries of comprehensive research reports, studies, and technical evaluations.+ Works with senior leaders; responds to rapidly changing priorities; communicates highly technical analysis at levels comprehensible to lay- and senior-level customers;+ Keeps leadership apprised of high priority issues, requirements, and developments to meet critical milestones.+ Tracks action items and helps the client meet deadlines.+ Assists in the immediate coordination and execution of all other tasks as assigned.**Qualifications****EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**+ Bachelor's and (10) years of relevant experience OR Master's and (8) years of relevant experience.+ Experience developing strategic communication messaging for external audiences.+ Experience working directly with/for senior (Military O-6, GS-15) DoD and Intelligence Community officials.+ Previous experience briefing senior IC and/or DoD leadership on various topics.+ Expertise in MS tools including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel with special emphasis on presentation and slide development.**CLEARANCE:**+ Must already hold an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/CI polygraph.**DESIRED:**+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field.+ Experience as a research historian.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
