**Description**
**ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
* Promotes a safe work environment for all team members.
* Ensure teams follow quality processes and procedures.
* Ensure teams meet manufacturing standard output and waste expectations.
* Provide hands on leadership of team members engaged in the operation of the assigned manufacturing assets.
* Recommend measures to improve equipment safety, product quality, production efficiencies, equipment performance and scrap rate for their assets.
* Work with their teams to optimize organization and time management skills.
* Obtain other support resources teams as appropriate.
* Enforce the non-negotiable team boundaries.
* Provide direction to teams that are performing below minimum expectations.
* Administrative tasks as required.
* Work as team member when time allows or if required.
* Coordinate or conduct training as required.
* Optimizes shift transitions through consistent communication with other Asset Shift coordinators and team members.
* Ensure adequate staffing to meet production needs.
* All other duties as assigned.
* Keeps immediate supervisor informed of important matters which must be handled at that level, with emphasis on critical incidents related to employee safety, security, union activity.
* Contributes to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested.
* Decision-making and authority is exercised with good judgment, recognizing when others must be involved.
* Shows initiative in gaining and maintaining the skills, abilities, and knowledge required to perform this position in at least a fully-qualified and satisfactory manner.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:** (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
Bachelors degree or five (5) years progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment. Line Lead experience preferred.
