Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics, negotiate with carriers, and track shipments to enhance cost-efficiency and service reliability.
Quality Control and Compliance: Enforce quality control measures and ensure adherence to shipping regulations, safety standards, and customs requirements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize data analysis to identify improvement areas and report on shipping efficiency and KPIs.
Trucking Operations: Manage trucking operations, including vehicle maintenance and driver support, to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.

Experience and Education
Minimum of 5-7 years in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams in a similar industry.
Proven track record of optimizing shipping operations, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements.
Experience in negotiating with carriers and logistics service providers, as well as in inventory and warehouse management.
Demonstrated ability in data analysis, performance monitoring, and implementing strategic operational improvements.
Familiarity with trucking operations, vehicle maintenance, and driver support is essential, indicating hands-on experience in overseeing fleet management.
Education
Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) could be advantageous.
