Job SummaryThe Utility Yard Worker is responsible for assorted maintenance including maintaining clean and well-groomed grounds around facility as well as picking up parts for truck shop and keeping parts inventory controls.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.* Picks up parts as needed for truck shop from vendor locations.* Updates computer system for all inbound parts / foreign shop repairs.* Maintains clean area around dumpsters; picks up trash; dumps and cleans trash barrels.* Cleans interior of fleet shop including showers, restrooms, breakroom and fuel pump.* Responsible for familiarity and observation of all company safety rules and regulations.* All other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications* Must be at least 18 years of age.* Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.* Must have clean MVR.Preferred Qualifications* Work well with others in a team environment.* Dependable; reliable.Darling Ingredients is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, pregnancy, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military service, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state and local law.
