POSITION PURPOSE:
- Under the direct supervision of the Laundry Supervisor, the laundry attendant will perform all laundry duties across the resort to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and the delivery of a luxurious, unparalleled guest experience
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:
- Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
- Load and unload washers and dryers
- Maintain equipment as trained
- Fold, store and distribute linens
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
- Perform other duties as requested by management
- Use automated ironer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, reaching, kneeling and bending
- Ability to use cleaning chemicals
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness, safety and professionalism
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
- Must be reliable, flexible & keep to schedule
