Position Details:
Title: HVAC Chiller Technician
Location: Ashburn, VA
Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000; OT paid for after-hours, weekend, and holidays
Benefits: Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and family after 3 months; 401k with 6% company match; PTO; compensation days for on-call or emergency work as appropriate
Travel: Mostly local; occasional out-of-region travel, less than 2 nights per month
Position Description:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for serving our customers either on site, by phone, or via remote internet connection. You'll be involved in chiller startup/commissioning, resolving technical issues, troubleshooting, warranty work, and performing chiller maintenance. Responsibilities include:
--- Sustaining and delivering high customer satisfaction; communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts.
--- Provide technical support on indoor/outdoor company chillers
--- Service and troubleshoot chillers in the field
--- Provide guidance to customers as to the operation and maintenance of their equipment
--- Be on-call to receive emergency customer calls approximately one week per month/2 months
--- Complete installations; deliver and remove equipment required for installation, in accordance with company standards
--- Diagnose and target customer's operational problems
--- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment
--- Promote the sale of add-on work or service agreements
Requirements:
--- 2-4 years of HVAC field experience (specifically chiller); turbocor/mag bearing is a plus
--- Ability to work independently or with a team
