Payroll Specialist


Job Details

Candidate must reside within Austin or commute to our office in 78744 be considered. The position is in-office while training with hybrid opportunity later.


Experience in multi-state payroll including setting up and maintaining taxes required.


About the role:

  • As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company's employees in UKG/UltiPro.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports, records, and documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.


Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely.
  • Ensure data integrity by verifying employee information and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Comply with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with year-end payroll tasks and reporting.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.4


Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Multi-state payroll experience (including setup and maintenance of taxes); experience with UKG/UltiPro preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
