Were looking for highly motivated Buyer who will be responsible for managing procurement, sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to meet operational requirements. **What youll be doing (not all inclusive) . . . .**

* Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified costs, quality and delivery targets

* Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply obstacles

* Supplier liaison between engineering, manufacturing and marketing

* Manage creation, release and tracking of purchase orders

* Use existing tools and systems to analyze and act on current inventory positions and trends

* Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships with a professional and consistent approach

* Participating actively in lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities.

* Promoting a positive and cohesive work environment.

**Requirements**

**What you need to bring (not all inclusive) . . .**

* Ability to work well under limited supervision.

* Bachelors Degree in Business or related field

* 3+ years of related work experience

* Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

* Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP system.

* Organizational skills with attention to accuracy.

* Self-motivation and a positive attitude with the ability to work well with others in high pressure environment.

* Knowledge of Lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities (a plus).

* Handle miscellaneous related duties and assignments as required.

* Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as required and authorized.

* Regular attendance.
