Piper Companies is currently seeking a Part-Time Patient Service Representative for an opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) to join a local academic institution.
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Patient Service Representative
* Provide prompt and courteous information via phone and in person to clients regarding services and schedules
* Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient care with clinical educators and students
* Send introductory information/forms to clients before appointments and request documentation from referral sources
* Maintain electronic health records by inputting and creating patient data in NextGen system
Qualifications of the Part-Time Patient Service Representative
* 1+ years of experience in a medical, rehabilitation or education setting is required
* Experience with insurance verification, customer service, insurance portals, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desired
* High School Degree or equivalent required
Compensation for the Part-Time Patient Service Representative
* Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour
