As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working. This opening is at multi-warehouse distribution center for a large Midwest retailer.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** include but are not limited to:
* **Delivery Access Control** - Check in/out Semi Truck deliveries at the Guard House using computer software.
* **Patrolling** - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
* **Mobile Patrol** - Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
* **Warehouse Access Control** - Ensure the client's employees complete their COVID health screenings. Provide next step directions depending on results.
**CURRENT OPENING:**
* 1st / 2nd / 3rd Shift
* Part-Time(16-29 hours / week) OR
* ACA Full-Time (30-39 hours / week)

* **Pay Rate:** $16.00/hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases)

**LOCATION:** Bellefontaine, OH
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
* Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
* May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
* Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
* Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified
* Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
+ Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
+ Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
* Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

High School Diploma or GED
