Labor and Employment Associate


Job Details

Our customer, an International AMLaw 100 Law Firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate for a 6-month contract (potential to turn permanent). This will be a hybrid role in any of the following locations: Sacramento, CA, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, and Century City, CA, with hybrid mode 2-3 days a week in the office.


Summary:

As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.


Experience:

  • 3 to 9 years of labor and employment litigation experience, ideally working on single-plaintiff matters, discrimination and wrongful discharge employment litigation, wage-hour matters, or class and collective actions.
  • The ability and drive to take responsibility for routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to think outside the box, and a knack for finding practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of California
  • Strong substantive knowledge of a full range of US federal and state labor and employment laws.
  • Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
